our story

Welcome To 8,074 Feet As You Drive To Beautiful Lake Marie

If you’ve found yourself in the beautiful Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, you are one lucky individual. It’s been stated that the Centennial Valley holds “abundant opportunities for summer and winter recreation and incredible natural beauty right next door, the town remembers its past, enjoys its present and anticipates its future with equal enthusiasm.”

Here at The Trading Post, our specialty is delicious cuisine created with local ingredients and passion for good ol’ home cookin’. We take great pride in providing you with the best dining experience possible for all in the family.

We proudly support Centennial Valley Grass Fed Cattle, our exclusive beef supplier – burgers available every day our restaurant is open and steaks are served on occasion as a nightly special!
